Two rubblemound
breakwalls were constructed for Phase One in the development of a new recreational boat
harbor for the State of Michigan on Lake Huron north of Alpena. The project
consisted of the precise placement of 50,000 tons of limestone varying in size from 50# to
7 ton. In addition, a 1,000 foot long pedestrian walkway was installed on the longer
of the two breakwalls. |
