PROJECT: Exxon Santa Ynez Unit Power Cable Installation COMPLETED: March 1992 CLIENT: Exxon Company USA SPECIFICS: TCable end installation of five power cables from three offshore production platforms(Harmony, Heritage, and Hondo) to the Las Flores Canyon project site.  Cables were placed from platform to platform and from platform to shore.  The total length of cable laid was 48.9 miles, with the longest cable being 17.2 miles and the shortest being 3.5 miles.   Cable ends on the platforms were pulled through "J" or "I" tubes.  Shore ends were pulled through nearshore conduit and an onshore tunnel which housed an operating H2S gas line.  Cables were three conductor, armored power cables of various sizes.  The project was started in December 1991 and completed in March or 1992.
